NDBCC postponed

The National Deaf Basketball Club Championships that are usually held over the Easter weekend each year, have been delayed this year due to insufficient teams.

The NDBCC will now be held on the weekend of 17/18 July, still at the Gold Coast.

Unfortunately, only QLD had nominated teams this year, which is a huge disappointment given the long history of the NDBCC.

After much discussion, it was decided to delay the Championships for this year, and review the format of them prior to July.
A new format has been discussed several times over the last few years, however no significant changes have occurred.
DBA is currently looking at a more socially based format, and further details will be provided when they are available.
The NDBCC is an important opportunity for deaf and hard of hearing basketball players to compete in a social environment.
