The DBA Board has appointed Aaron Fitzsimmons as the new Communication Officer with Deaf Basketball Australia.

 

The new role will specifically assist with the DBA website, and move DBA into a new direction with regular updates on a new DBA Face Book account. The role will assist in provide up to date information to deaf basketball players and supporters in Australia.

 

Aaron has represented Australia in the national Men's team, the Goanna's, at both the 2005 Deaflympics in Melbourne, and also the 2007 World Championships in Guangzhou,China, where he excelled himself both as a player and and as captain of the Goanna's.
